How Lookahead works

THE LEVEL

The level is a live chart in 1-second candles. Each candle is a block: its body is the platform, its wick is a rail. Price moves become terrain. Each chart is scaled to its own moves, so a normal second is a step you jump, on a calm chart or a wild one.

Pick a chart on the start screen: $AHEAD, GATO/SOL, ANSEM/SOL, BTC MEME/WBTC, PUMP/USDC and SOL/USD. $AHEAD shows COMING SOON until $AHEAD launches; the other charts are open now. A chart with no trades for over 60 s, or with its feed running behind, is marked QUIET; it still plays.

The top bar shows the latest price and, once a run starts, RUN: the % change since the run started. BTC MEME is a pump.fun coin named BTC, not Bitcoin, so its bar shows RUN only.

• GREEN CANDLESolid ground. Stand on it as long as you like.
• RED CANDLECracks the moment you land and falls right after. Jump straight off it.
• WICKThe thin line above a body is a rail. Land on a tall one to grind along it.
• HOLEA second where nobody traded has no block. Jump it. There is never more than one in a row.
• RUGA big dump. As you get close, the ground ahead drops away and leaves a gap.

THE RUN

A run starts about 3 minutes in the past and races toward the live edge of the chart. The tape moves faster than the clock, so every second you survive closes the distance to now.

Reach the live edge and you finish a lap. You get a bonus, then a short flat run-in takes you back onto the newest 3 minutes of the chart. Each lap runs 10% faster than the one before, up to 2x. The HUD shows LAP 2, LAP 3 and so on.

Fall into a gap, or get held at a wall until the edge of the tape catches you, and the run ends as RUGGED. A run lasts at most 30 minutes; then it ends and you can still submit it.

CONTROLS

One button: jump. Hold it to jump higher, let go early for a short hop. Your first press starts the run.

Running into the side of a taller candle stops you at its wall. Jump over it.

SCORE

Every tick you stay alive adds points, multiplied by your combo. Last longer and move cleaner for a higher score.

A HOLE, SCORES 0

A landing is clean when you have not hit a wall since the last one. A second where nobody traded is a hole to jump, and adds nothing. The same inputs on the same chart always give the same score.

ROUND BOARD

Every chart has its own board. A round lasts 30 minutes, and the board keeps one best score per wallet per round. Submit as often as you like; a run counts in the round you submit it in.

PRIZES

When a round closes, 4% of the prize pool goes to #1 on the $AHEAD round board, paid in SOL. The pool is a public wallet. Other charts have boards but no prize.

The prize is sent 60 s after the close, so a score submitted at the last second still counts. #1 must still hold $20 of $AHEAD when it is sent. If not, the prize passes down to the next wallet on the board that does, through the top 50.

Known limit: a round with no holder in the top 50, or a prize under 0.001 SOL, pays nothing.

SUBMITTING

1. Finish a run and press SUBMIT SCORE. You have 30 minutes after the run ends.
2. Pick your wallet. Phantom, Solflare and Backpack work.
3. Approve the message. Your wallet signs one line of plain text: lookahead run <run id> score <score> hash <hash> No transaction, no fee, no approval of anything else.
4. The server checks that the wallet holds at least $20 of $AHEAD, then replays your inputs on the same chart. Only real runs count: a score that does not reproduce is rejected.

Not holding enough? The run stays on screen with BUY $AHEAD and SUBMIT AGAIN. Get the $AHEAD, then submit the same run again within the 30 minutes.

Holding is checked, not paid. Nothing leaves the wallet. Until $AHEAD launches there is nothing to hold, so no hold is checked and any wallet can submit.

SHARING

After a submit, SHARE ON X posts a card of your run: its time, laps, best combo and score. Your row on the board has SHARE too, with a card of your rank. A rank card shows the rank at the time the card was made.
